How to read the building meter
Il contatore mostra a rotazione diverse schermate. Basta capire tre cose: quale menù, quale sigla, quale fascia oraria.
The meter cycles through several screens. You only need three things: which menu, which code, which time band.
I due menù principali
- Energia Prelevata → energia presa dalla rete (quella che paghiamo).
- Energia Immessa → energia prodotta dal fotovoltaico e immessa in rete (quella che ci viene riconosciuta).
Ci sono poi Periodo Corrente (mese in corso) e Periodo Precedente (mese chiuso, valori fermi). Per i conteggi si usa il periodo precedente.
The two main menus
- Energia Prelevata — energy drawn from the grid, what we pay for.
- Energia Immessa — energy produced by the PV system and fed into the grid, what we are credited for.
There is also Current Period (the running month) and Previous Period (the closed month, fixed values). Use the previous period for the figures.
Le sigle
- A1, A2, A3 → energia in kWh. È il numero che conta.
- Il segno meno dopo la sigla (es.
A1-) indica che si tratta di energia immessa, non prelevata.
- P1, P2, P3 Max → potenza massima raggiunta, in kW. Indica il "picco", non i consumi.
- R1, R2, R3 → energia reattiva. È un dato tecnico di rete, non riguarda la bolletta: si può ignorare.
The codes
- A1, A2, A3 — energy in kWh. This is the number that counts.
- A minus sign after the code (e.g.
A1-) means energy fed in, not drawn.
- P1, P2, P3 Max — maximum power reached, in kW: the peak, not consumption.
- R1, R2, R3 — reactive energy. A technical grid figure, not part of the bill. Ignore it.
Le fasce orarie
- F1 → lunedì–venerdì, 8:00–19:00
- F2 → lunedì–venerdì, 7:00–8:00 e 19:00–23:00; sabato 7:00–23:00
- F3 → notte, domeniche e festivi
Il fotovoltaico produce quasi tutto in F1, perché è la fascia diurna.
The time bands
- F1 — Mon–Fri, 08:00–19:00
- F2 — Mon–Fri 07:00–08:00 and 19:00–23:00; Sat 07:00–23:00
- F3 — nights, Sundays and public holidays
The PV system produces almost everything in F1, the daytime band.
